History:
The Montana Militia is an armed Provisional Government organization. As the title suggests, this group was based in the former state of Montana within the Northern Commonwealth. After attacks by both Enclave Remnants and Canadian raider groups, the Montana Militia was ousted from their cities, forcing them to relocate. As the militia were arriving at Dead Horse Point, North of Caesar’s Legion, the Militia was attacked by Legionaries. The Militia surrendered to the Legion, becoming slaves, and forcefully relocated to Denver. Only two months after this forceful relocation, the Brotherhood of Steel, hearing word of a secret laboratory located under Denver full of Pre-War technology, attacked Denver. In the process, most of the leading members of the Militia were able to escape their slavers and regroup with other escaped slaves. The Brotherhood, still attacking the Legion, witnessed the escaping slaves and decided to aid them, expecting them in return to attack the Legion. The leading Militia Man at the time, Malthius of the mighty Montana Gratis Vigor tribe, decided to avoid further conflict and headed south, leaving the battle, moving outside of Legion and Brotherhood territory. The Militia traveled in a nomadic manner around the Legion, making it into the NCR. Restocking their supplies in NCR towns, the Militia was ready to start anew. A local raiding gang, the Vipers, were attempting to lure traders and settlers into Vault 15 by releasing a false distress signal from inside the abandoned Vault. Picking up the signal, the Militia headed to the Vault only to find the raiding gang. The raiders did not anticipate such a large armed group to arrive and were forced to retreat. The Militia, now knowing that the Vault was abandoned, wished to settle there, until learning of the several Molerat colonies living there. They then settled South East of the Vault, setting up a camp and appointed a new President, Malthius. Malthius’ wife, Valerie, had died in the Battle at Dead Horse Point at the hands of the Legion. In her honor, the Outpost was named Camp Valerie. The Militia has since then been working on a constitution, currency, and setting up Resource Outposts, as well as looking for citizens and soldiers willing to work.

What we provide:
New Players:
Once recruited, we provide you as a new character to Fonline: Reloaded with basic training and gear. We then assign you to a work outpost where you will grind the resources provided in the area (ex. Iron ore, Minerals, Chemical Components, Tobacco). You will then craft the required gear from the resources grinded and slowly but surely gain experience and level up. Of course you will be allowed to venture out and explore the world of Fonline, and even be given missions from the Militia.

Experienced Players:
As an experienced player within the faction, you will be required to train atleast two recruits. It will also be mandatory to aid any waste-lander in dire need, as we are a righteous organization, looking to help who we can. Important missions will be given to you and in time you will rise in the ranks. Once we have grown powerful enough to take hold of cities, you will be the first for us to look to.
